Finance Manager (SME)

An agricultural co-operative in Mokopane needs an accountant who can close fast and explain the variances. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The work is in Mokopane, Limpopo, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Prepare the audit file and answer auditor queries
• Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
• Improve controls, such as segregation of duties on supplier changes
• Track stock costing, standard costs and production variances
• Run cash flow forecasts and manage the weekly payment run

• BCom Accounting or equivalent degree
• Experience on an ERP such as Sage X3, Sage 300, Syspro or SAP Business One
• At least 3 years of post-qualification accounting experience
• Understanding of South African income tax and VAT
• You meet month-end deadlines without being chased
