Finance Manager (SME) – Immediate Start

Month-end, year-end and audit prep all run through you at an agricultural co-operative in Secunda. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at an agricultural co-operative in Secunda. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance commentary
• Draft annual financial statements under IFRS or IFRS for SMEs
• Track stock costing, standard costs and production variances
• Prepare the audit file and answer auditor queries
• Review creditors, debtors and payroll journals from the clerks

• Understanding of South African income tax and VAT
• You meet month-end deadlines without being chased
• Experience on an ERP such as Sage X3, Sage 300, Syspro or SAP Business One
• Strong Excel skills, including large data sets and lookups

• CA(SA) with SAICA, or AGA(SA) or Professional Accountant (SA) with SAIPA
• Completed articles at an audit firm
• Consolidation experience across several companies
