FMCG Sales Representative (Route Sales)

Out on the road for a beverage distributor in Randburg, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

This post is in Randburg (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.

• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners

• Speaking two or more local languages
• Existing relationships with independent retailers
• A sales or marketing certificate

• Product samples and staff pricing
• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Branded uniform and safety boots
• Cellphone and data allowance

• Recruiters check your licence first, so attach a clear certified copy and note any clean driving record.
• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
