Funeral Cover Sales Consultant (RE5)

This personal loans branch in Brakpan pays a basic plus commission, and your pipeline sets the ceiling. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll report in Brakpan. Relocation is not covered for this one. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Do a needs analysis and match the client to the right product.
• Explain waiting periods, exclusions and premiums in plain terms.
• Capture new policies on the admin system and check debit order details.
• Call warm leads from the dialler and qualify them in the first minute.
• Track daily sales, conversions and lapse rates on the team board.

• Matric, including Maths or Maths Literacy
• Six months or more of sales, telesales or call centre work
• RE5 passed, or willing to write it within the first year
• Credits toward a recognised FSCA qualification, or willing to start
• Honest selling, even when the easy sale is the wrong one
• You are comfortable earning a large part of your pay in commission

• Your own car for field appointments
• A qualification such as a Higher Certificate in Financial Planning
