Job Description

This medical gap cover broker in Montague Gardens pays a basic plus commission, and your pipeline sets the ceiling. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Location: Montague Gardens, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

The work, day to day

Keep your record of advice complete for compliance audits.
Treat clients fairly under TCF rules and never oversell.
Do a needs analysis and match the client to the right product.
Visit clients at home or work for field advice appointments.
Save policies when clients call to cancel.
Capture new policies on the admin system and check debit order details.

What you need

Honest selling, even when the easy sale is the wrong one
Credits toward a recognised FSCA qualification, or willing to start
You are comfortable earning a large part of your pay in commission
FAIS fit and proper: clean credit and criminal record
Matric, including Maths or Maths Literacy
Six months or more of sales, telesales or call centre work

Helpful, not essential

Completed class of business training for short-term or long-term insurance
Your own car for field appointments
