Graduate Recruitment Coordinator

This bank talent team in Benoni needs a recruiter who can read a CV fast and a person faster. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Home base is a bank talent team on the Benoni side of Gauteng. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Screen CVs and run phone interviews to check fit and salary expectations.
• Negotiate offers and prepare offer letters.
• Report on time-to-fill, pipeline and placement figures each week.
• Source candidates through search, referrals and your own database.
• Write clear, honest job ads and post them on job boards and LinkedIn.
• Take detailed job briefs from hiring managers and clients.

• Comfortable with targets for agency roles
• Organised enough to run 15 or more vacancies at once
• Honest about salaries, deadlines and outcomes
• A diploma or degree in HR or a related field, or strong agency experience

• Experience with psychometric or skills assessments
• Knowledge of employment equity targets when shortlisting
• An applicant tracking system such as Bullhorn or a similar ATS

• Commission on placements for agency roles
• Hybrid working
• Clear growth path to senior consultant or team manager

• Show placements, fill rates and average time-to-fill; recruiters get judged on numbers, and so will you.
• Before the interview, look up a live vacancy the company is filling and suggest where you would source for it.
