Job Description

Good service at a busy mall coffee shop in Gqeberha starts with you: friendly, quick and on top of every order. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Home base is a busy mall coffee shop on the Gqeberha side of Eastern Cape.

What you'll actually do

Set tables, polish cutlery and glasses, and check condiments before doors open.
Mix cocktails, pour draught and serve shooters to spec at the bar.
Carry plates to the right seat without auctioning food at the table.
Check back two minutes after mains land and fix problems on the spot.
Clear, wipe and reset tables fast during the Friday and Sunday rush.

What you need

Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays
Neat grooming and a friendly manner under pressure
You can stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift
Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts
You speak clear English and can chat easily with guests

Extra points for

Wine knowledge from a WSET Level 1 or wine farm stint
Responsible Service of Alcohol training
