Job Description

Tickets come in all day at this hospital group in Sandton, and you close them. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

Home base is a hospital group on the Sandton side of Gauteng.

What your day looks like

Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine
Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
Image, set up and hand over new laptops and desktops

Must-haves

Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
Patient and friendly with non-technical users

Nice if you have

Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices
CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
