Job Description

Get hands-on support experience at a call centre campus in Benoni, from password resets to new laptop builds. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is Benoni-based, with most of your time spent at a call centre campus.

What you'll actually do

Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
Write short how-to guides for common user problems
Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes

Must-haves

Patient and friendly with non-technical users
Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma

Extra points for

CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices
