Job Description

A hospital group in Phalaborwa needs a calm tech who can help frustrated users get back to work. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

You'll report in Phalaborwa. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
Image, set up and hand over new laptops and desktops
Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes

What you need

Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
Patient and friendly with non-technical users
