Job Description

A corporate head office in Pretoria West needs a calm tech who can help frustrated users get back to work. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The site is in Pretoria West; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

What your day looks like

Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
Write short how-to guides for common user problems

What you need

Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
Patient and friendly with non-technical users
Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
