Job Description

Tickets come in all day at this hospital group in Johannesburg CBD, and you close them. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

This post is Johannesburg CBD-based, with most of your time spent at a hospital group. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What your day looks like

Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
Image, set up and hand over new laptops and desktops
Write short how-to guides for common user problems
Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes

You'll need

Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
Patient and friendly with non-technical users
Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365

Extra points for

CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
ITIL Foundation
