Job Description

Get hands-on support experience at a corporate head office in Richards Bay, from password resets to new laptop builds. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

This post is in Richards Bay (KwaZulu-Natal). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
Image, set up and hand over new laptops and desktops

What you need

Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
Patient and friendly with non-technical users
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
