Liquor Store General Assistant

Start in retail here: a neighbourhood supermarket in Potchefstroom trains packers who show up and work neat. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll report in Potchefstroom. Relocation is not covered for this one.

• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
• Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
• Collect trolleys from the parking lot
• Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles

• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Neat appearance and punctual
• Grade 10 or matric

• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
• Own transport for route merchandising jobs
• Some till or cash-handling experience

• Paid training in store procedures
