Warehouse Packer (Seasonal Peak) – Immediate Start

You'll keep a busy pharmaceutical warehouse in Potchefstroom stocked, picked and moving out on time. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll be based at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Potchefstroom. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight

• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• South African ID or a valid work permit

• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate
• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment

• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals

• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
