Job Description

Start in retail here: a township shopping centre store in Springs trains packers who show up and work neat. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is in Springs (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

The work, day to day

Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
Collect trolleys from the parking lot
Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables

Must-haves

Polite with customers and happy to help
Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
Able to stand and lift cases all shift
Basic reading and maths for price checks
