Order Picker (Cold Store)

Every order that leaves this online grocery fulfilment hub in Alberton passes through your hands first. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

The work is in Alberton, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin

• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves

• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
