Loading Bay Hand (Beverage Depot)

You'll load and offload trucks at a furniture retailer warehouse in Mossel Bay so every delivery goes out full and correct. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

The site is in Mossel Bay; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts

• No criminal record
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
• Friendly with customers at the door
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
• Willing to travel on routes that return late

• A Code 8 or Code 10 licence (a route to becoming a driver)
• Basic furniture assembly skills
• Speaking more than one local language for customer drops

• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Meal allowance on long-route days
