Loss Prevention Officer (Distribution Centre)

Shrinkage hurts every fashion retail store; in Rustenburg, you would be the one tracking it down. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a fashion retail store in Rustenburg. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Walk the floor in plain clothes and watch for shoplifting behaviour
• Search staff bags at exit points according to store policy
• Check receiving bay deliveries against invoices and seal numbers
• Detain suspects lawfully and call SAPS, then write a statement
• Share trends with the store manager each week
• Tag high-value stock and check security tags at the doors

• Knowledge of lawful arrest and search under the Criminal Procedure Act
• Discreet, observant and honest
• Available for retail hours including month-end weekends
• PSIRA registration, Grade C at least
• Good report writing
• Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4
