Merchandiser (Grocery Rep Route) – Entry Level

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a wholesale cash-and-carry in Mogwase, so shoppers find what they came for. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

This post is Mogwase-based, with most of your time spent at a wholesale cash-and-carry. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips

• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Grade 10 or matric
• Able to stand and lift cases all shift
• Neat appearance and punctual

• Some till or cash-handling experience
• Own transport for route merchandising jobs
• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work

• Chance to move into till or department roles
• Travel allowance on merchandising routes
• Paid training in store procedures
