Job Description

Early starts, clear routes and people depending on you: a mine shift transport service in Klerksdorp is hiring bus drivers. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The work, day to day

Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable

Must-haves

Patient and friendly with passengers
Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
Clean driving and criminal record
At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
Valid PrDP for passengers (P)

Nice if you have

Tour coach experience with charters
Experience on mine or staff transport routes
Fluent in more than one language
