Job Description

You'll run a shift of officers at a residential estate in Ballito, keeping posts covered and standards high. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is a residential estate on the Ballito side of KwaZulu-Natal. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What you'll actually do

Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills

You'll need

Available after hours for emergencies
Matric, with a security management course a plus
Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)

Helpful, not essential

Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts
Labour relations or basic supervision course

On offer
