Job Description

Step up from guarding into supervising on a hospital complex in Rosslyn. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

You'll be based at a hospital complex in Rosslyn. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

The work, day to day

Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills

You'll need

At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
Matric, with a security management course a plus
Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
Available after hours for emergencies
PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
