Security Operations Supervisor (Retail Portfolio) – Immediate Start

A security company in Boksburg wants a firm, fair supervisor for its retail portfolio. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

This post is in Boksburg (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours

• Available after hours for emergencies
• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters

• Cellphone allowance
• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Management training for growth to operations manager
