Job Description

A bank's digital channels team in Randburg needs a developer who can take a ticket from idea to production. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The work is in Randburg, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What you'll actually do

Write, test and refactor code in your team's main language
Design database tables and write efficient SQL queries
Pair with junior developers to unblock them
Deploy through a CI/CD pipeline on Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab
Join daily stand-ups and sprint planning

You'll need

Stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote days
Commercial experience in at least one of PHP, C#, Java, Python or JavaScript
A computer science or IT qualification, or a portfolio that proves you can build
Solid Git habits: branches, pull requests and meaningful commit messages
