Job Description

Steady shift work with a tour and charter company in Tembisa for drivers with a passenger PrDP. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

The work is in Tembisa, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

The work, day to day

Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable

What you need

Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Punctual for very early starts
Clean driving and criminal record
At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
Medically fit

Helpful, not essential

First-aid certificate
Fluent in more than one language
Tour coach experience with charters
