Night Shift Security Officer (Grade D) – Immediate Start

The gate at a gated residential estate in Johannesburg CBD is the first line of safety, and you would be standing at it. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Home base is a gated residential estate on the Johannesburg CBD side of Gauteng.

• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Keep the guardhouse clean and the OB up to date for the relieving officer
• Call the armed response or SAPS number from the call list when needed
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register

• Speaks and writes basic English
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred

• Firefighting or evacuation training
• Experience on estate access apps or biometric readers
• First-aid Level 1 certificate

• Stable long-term site contracts
• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
• Provident fund contributions
