Job Description

Delivery days start early in Cape Town CBD, and a beverage depot needs you on the bay before the trucks roll. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Home base is a beverage depot on the Cape Town CBD side of Western Cape.

What your day looks like

Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count

You'll need

No criminal record
Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
Friendly with customers at the door
Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips

Extra points for

Basic furniture assembly skills
Speaking more than one local language for customer drops
