Order Picker (Cold Store)

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a frozen-food distribution centre in Montague Gardens, and nobody minds if it's your first job. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

This post is in Montague Gardens (Western Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight

• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts

• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate

• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
