Onsite IT Support Engineer (Corporate Office) – Experienced

Get hands-on support experience at a call centre campus in Klerksdorp, from password resets to new laptop builds. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is in Klerksdorp (North West). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

• Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
• Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
• Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
• Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
• Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
• Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine
• Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes

• At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
• Patient and friendly with non-technical users
• Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
• Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
• Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts

• Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
• ITIL Foundation

• Paid certification exams after probation
• Company laptop and cellphone
• Travel allowance for field technicians
• Clear path to second-line and systems roles

• Be ready for a practical test on a real laptop or a phone troubleshooting role-play.
• Describe the size of the environment you supported, such as "400 users across 6 branches".
