Job Description

Machines set the pace at this plastic moulding plant in Worcester; you keep up and catch the faults. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is a plastic moulding plant on the Worcester side of Western Cape. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Follow lock-out procedures when helping with cleaning inside machines
Help the machine operator clear jams and reload hoppers
Clean down machines and floors at the end of each run
Stop the line with the emergency stop if anything jams or looks unsafe
Weigh ingredients or additives against the recipe card

Must-haves

Basic reading and counting for batch sheets
You follow hygiene rules without being reminded
Neat, reliable and on time for shift start
Available for rotating day and night shifts
Medically fit; some food plants ask for a medical check
