Payroll and HR Administrator (SME) – Fixed-Term

A payroll bureau in Boksburg needs a payroll person who never misses a cut-off. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The work is in Boksburg, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

• Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours
• Release the salary bank file for authorisation
• Compile bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates
• Declare UIF on uFiling and help staff with UI-19 forms
• Submit monthly EMP201 returns and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL on eFiling
• Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings
• Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports

• Reliable with deadlines that cannot move
• At least 2 years of full-function payroll
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations
• Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
• You keep salary information private under POPIA

• Experience with medical aid and pension fund reconciliations
• Knowledge of employment equity and WSP reporting
• Bargaining council wage experience, such as MIBCO or the security sector

• Structured increases linked to certification
