Job Description

You'll run weekly and monthly payrolls for a labour-heavy mining contractor in Vereeniging, from clock data to bank file. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll report in Vereeniging. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings
Release the salary bank file for authorisation
Answer staff payslip queries clearly and in private
Calculate leave pay, notice pay and final pay under the BCEA
Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports
Compile bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates

What you need

Reliable with deadlines that cannot move
At least 2 years of full-function payroll
Comfortable with Excel reconciliations
Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
