Payroll Clerk (Sage 300 People, Weekly Paid Staff) – Immediate Start

People get paid right and on time because of you at a security services company in Kathu. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Location: Kathu, Northern Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings
• Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports
• Release the salary bank file for authorisation
• Capture new hires, terminations, increases and deductions before cut-off
• Declare UIF on uFiling and help staff with UI-19 forms
• Calculate leave pay, notice pay and final pay under the BCEA
• Compile bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates

• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
• You keep salary information private under POPIA
• Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
• Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma
• At least 2 years of full-function payroll
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations

• Bargaining council wage experience, such as MIBCO or the security sector
• Experience with medical aid and pension fund reconciliations
• SAPP registration as a Payroll Practitioner
