Payroll Officer (VIP Payroll)

Accurate payslips, clean tax filings and happy staff: that's the job at a security services company in Mogwase. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

This post is in Mogwase (North West). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

• Declare UIF on uFiling and help staff with UI-19 forms
• Submit monthly EMP201 returns and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL on eFiling
• Process garnishee orders and third-party deductions
• Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours
• Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports
• Calculate leave pay, notice pay and final pay under the BCEA

• At least 2 years of full-function payroll
• Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma
• You keep salary information private under POPIA
• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations

• Say how many employees you paid and how often, such as "1,200 weekly-paid staff on VIP"; volume matters.
• Mention EMP501 and IRP5 by name; employers want proof you can handle the year-end tax cycle.
