Job Description

This manufacturing group in Mahikeng needs someone who knows payroll tax and SARS inside out. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is Mahikeng-based, with most of your time spent at a manufacturing group.

The work, day to day

Submit the monthly EMP201 on SARS eFiling and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL.
Run the payroll, check variances and get sign-off before cut-off.
Import clock-card data and check overtime against the BCEA limits.
Process garnishee orders, loans and third-party deductions.
Prepare EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates twice a year.

What you need

SARS eFiling and EMP501 reconciliations without supervision
Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
Hands-on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
Matric plus a payroll, bookkeeping or HR qualification
Strong Excel, especially VLOOKUP and pivot tables

Nice if you have

ETI claim experience
SAPA (South African Payroll Association) membership or certification
Bargaining council levy and wage-rate experience
