Job Description

When a panic button goes off in a farming district in Sandton, you are the one who arrives first. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Home base is a farming district on the Sandton side of Gauteng.

What your day looks like

Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates

You'll need

Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course

Helpful, not essential

First-aid Level 2 or 3
SAPS, SANDF or reservist background
