Job Description

Serious work for a serious officer: armed response across a mixed-use neighbourhood in Soweto. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is in Soweto (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

What your day looks like

Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates

You'll need

Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Clean criminal record and no pending cases
