Reception Security Officer (Office Tower) – Immediate Start

Steady 12-hour shifts at a private school campus in Khayelitsha for PSIRA-registered officers. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll be based at a private school campus in Khayelitsha. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols
• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Call the armed response or SAPS number from the call list when needed
• Write every incident and shift change in the occurrence book (OB)

• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Alert, polite and firm with the public
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers
• Clean criminal record
• Physically fit for foot patrols

• Experience on estate access apps or biometric readers
• Firefighting or evacuation training

• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Stable long-term site contracts
• Provident fund contributions
