Job Description

A healthcare administrator in Johannesburg CBD needs dashboards people trust and numbers that add up. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

Home base is a healthcare administrator on the Johannesburg CBD side of Gauteng.

What you'll actually do

Automate weekly reports that used to take hours in Excel
Present findings to managers in plain language with clear charts
Check data quality and trace odd numbers back to the source
Mask or remove personal information in data sets under POPIA
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models
Meet business users to turn their questions into report requirements

Must-haves

Hands-on Power BI, Tableau or a similar tool
Able to explain what the numbers mean, not just show them
At least 2 years in a data or reporting role (not needed for graduate posts)
Degree in statistics, maths, computer science, economics or a related field
Advanced Excel
Strong SQL, including joins, window functions and CTEs

Nice if you have

Microsoft PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst certification
Industry knowledge in retail, insurance or credit
Python with pandas for data wrangling
