Returns & Exchanges Desk Clerk (Retail)

Customers bring their problems to your counter at a courier depot counter in Bloemfontein, and leave with answers. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Location: Bloemfontein, Free State. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Track parcels, reissue waybills and arrange redelivery at the counter.
• Do SIM swaps and RICA registrations with proper ID checks.
• Call customers when repairs or orders are ready to collect.
• Process returns, exchanges and credit notes under the Consumer Protection Act.
• Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.

• Retail or customer service experience of at least a year
• You can stay polite with a long queue watching
• Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
• Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers
• Retail hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and month-end

• Medical scheme or insurance product knowledge
• RICA and cellular product knowledge

• Fixed roster published two weeks ahead
• Product training and certifications paid for
• Monthly sales incentive on upgrades and add-ons

• Dress as if you already work the counter when you drop off a CV or go for the interview.
• Mention any till, cash-up or POS work on your CV; it shows you can be trusted with money.
