Returns & Exchanges Desk Clerk (Retail)

You'll help walk-in customers at a department store service desk in Mbombela, face to face, all day. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

The work is in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Process returns, exchanges and credit notes under the Consumer Protection Act.
• Update customer details and file signed forms for audit.
• Track parcels, reissue waybills and arrange redelivery at the counter.
• Take payments, balance your till and bank cash at close.
• Call customers when repairs or orders are ready to collect.
• Book repairs and warranty claims and give customers a reference number.

• Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
• Matric (Grade 12) certificate
• Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers
• Accurate with cash and paperwork

• Medical scheme or insurance product knowledge
• A Customer Service NQF certificate

• Fixed roster published two weeks ahead
• Monthly sales incentive on upgrades and add-ons
• Product training and certifications paid for
