Returns Processing Hand

You'll keep a busy building-supplies depot in Epping stocked, picked and moving out on time. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is Epping-based, with most of your time spent at a building-supplies depot. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking

• South African ID or a valid work permit
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts

• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts

• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
