You'll be based at a self-catering resort in Mbombela. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Hand in lost property with a written log entry.
• Inspect rooms against the checklist before release to front office.
• Clean bathrooms, showers and toilets with the correct colour-coded cloths.

• Hotel, guesthouse or domestic cleaning experience
• Honest and trustworthy around guest belongings

• Grade 10 or higher

• Monthly award for best room scores
• Uniform and protective gloves supplied
• Meals on duty
