Sales Rep (Beverages, Code 08)

This dairy producer needs a rep in Germiston who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at a dairy producer in Germiston. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.

• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets

• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
• Existing relationships with independent retailers

• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Cellphone and data allowance
• Branded uniform and safety boots
