Sales Rep (Beverages, Code 08) – Fixed-Term

This beverage distributor needs a rep in Welkom who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The work is in Welkom, Free State, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.

• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• Matric
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves

• Speaking two or more local languages
• Existing relationships with independent retailers

• Cellphone and data allowance
• Product samples and staff pricing
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts

• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
