Security Operations Supervisor (Retail Portfolio)

Step up from guarding into supervising on a retail portfolio in Bloemfontein. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is Bloemfontein-based, with most of your time spent at a retail portfolio. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns
• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours

• Available after hours for emergencies
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters

• Own reliable vehicle
• Computer skills for rosters in Excel or a workforce app

• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Management training for growth to operations manager
