Shift Supervisor (Guarding Contract) – Fixed-Term

Officers look to you on every shift at a mining operation in Mbombela. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The site is in Mbombela; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns

• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Matric, with a security management course a plus

• Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts
• Mining or hospital security experience
• Computer skills for rosters in Excel or a workforce app

• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Management training for growth to operations manager
