Shift Supervisor (Guarding Contract)

Step up from guarding into supervising on a retail portfolio in Mokopane. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

The work is in Mokopane, Limpopo, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns

• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)

• Computer skills for rosters in Excel or a workforce app
• Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts

• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Management training for growth to operations manager
