Store Assistant (Night Fill) – Permanent

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a neighbourhood supermarket in Secunda, so shoppers find what they came for. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is a neighbourhood supermarket on the Secunda side of Mpumalanga. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
• Collect trolleys from the parking lot

• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Grade 10 or matric
• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Neat appearance and punctual

• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
• Some till or cash-handling experience
• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles

• Travel allowance on merchandising routes
• Chance to move into till or department roles
• Paid training in store procedures
• Staff discount on groceries
